No7 Lash Impact Mascara (£10) has been around for a while in different coloured glittery tubes, and is No7’s answer to the false lash effect trend. (It’s currently available in a red tube, the colour of which is reminiscent of Dorothy’s ruby slippers … )
It has a medium-sized, slightly curled brush and which is very easy to use – though you need a few coats in order to create any semblance of volume. And it does a good job of creating a bit of a curl where there might not have been one before. I like the feel of the brush handle of No7 Lash Impact Mascara – it’s easier to manoeuvre than some of the other mascaras of its ilk on the market which have thick, slightly unwieldy handles.
Each time I’ve used No7 Lash Impact Mascara I’ve been impressed with the results but nine out of ten times, I’ve found smudges under my eyes a few hours later. The dreaded panda eye syndrome strikes again! It’s a shame because I had high hopes for this mascara.
