I have to confess: Max Factor Ageless Elixir Miracle Foundation (£12.99) is one of my favourite foundations, and one I’ve been going back to time and time again since I began using it around six years ago when I turned 40 – aaarrgghh!).
What I love about Max Factor Ageless Elixir Miracle Foundation is that it both feels and looks good, while keeping the skin looking natural. Combining skincare benefits – in the form of a serum – and foundation, it provides a flattering finish thanks to light-reflecting pigments. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles and it keeps the skin feeling moisturised.
Not only that but Max Factor Ageless Elixir Miracle Foundation has an SPF 15 – it’s not as much as somebody as pale as me really needs in sunny weather, but it’s a good start, and more than most foundations offer.
There are only six shades of Max Factor Ageless Elixir Miracle Foundation, and it looks – from surveying various websites, including Boots and Superdrug – as if some of them might be more difficult to come by than others, so I hope that Max Factor isn’t phasing this fab foundation out. I use the Light Ivory shade and it is perfect for me.
