L’Oréal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream

August 11, 2017

Just one cleanse and I can hear a bell ring/One more cleanse and I forget everything … Oooh I’ve come over all Abba as I think about how much I immediately loved L’Oréal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream (£7.99) when I tried it recently.

This rich cream is one of four cleansers in L’Oréal’s new Fine Flowers collection. Each cleanser is a blend of rose, known for its its ability to soothe and comfort, and jasmine, which protects and moisturises – oh, and they all come in pretty pink packaging. The L’Oréal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream was the one I was most keen to try because it looked like one of those tubs of cold cream that glamorous movie stars always had sitting on their dressing tables. Plus, I love an old-fashioned wipe-off cream cleanser.

I must say, I wasn’t disappointed with L’Oréal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream. Thick, luxurious and gorgeous-smelling, it feels lovely on the face and is a pleasure to massage into the skin. Make-up and dirt come off very easily with it; indeed, I found dirt on the cotton wool pad that I’m sure must have pre-dated the previous cleansing session! So I reckon the Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream gives a particularly thorough cleanse.

All of the cleansers – wipes, gel-cream, milk and cream – in the L’Oréal Fine Flowers collection are recommended for dry and sensitive skins, and I certainly found that there was no irritation from L’Oréal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream, and my skin felt nourished and very happy after using it. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the range, but I have a feeling this one – the most expensive of the lot – might just be my favourite!

Have you tried any of the L’Oréal Fine Flowers products? How did you get on?

NB: The L’Oréal Fine Flowers collection is currently on offer at Superdrug.
