Estée Lauder Genuine Glow Priming Moisture Balm (£30) is another great product from the Genuine Glow collection, the lovely new range from Lauder which fuses skincare and make-up to give the wearer a healthy and natural-looking glow.
Like the pricier Chanel Hydra Beauty Flash, Estée Lauder Genuine Glow Priming Moisture Balm hydrates the skin (I don’t need a moisturiser with either of these fab balms) while immediately providing the impression of much-improved skin thanks to light-diffusing technology which blurs lines, and other ingredients which give skin a radiant appearance and even tone.
I must say, I was bowled over by the Lauder balm. I noticed an improvement in my skin tone instantly – I am prone to redness and it disappeared straight away – and was especially wowed by the fact that the deep-set lines which run from the sides of my nose down to the sides of my mouth were considerably softened.
Estée Lauder Genuine Glow Priming Moisture Balm is available with and without an SPF 15 (I tested the non SPF 15 version), and can also be used at night for its skincare benefits. Personally, I’ll be saving mine for daytime as would prefer to look good during the day and not waste it on night-time use. – but I reckon this could be a godsend for those girls who don’t like recently acquired boyfriends seeing them at bedtime sans maquillage! No need to risk foundation on your pillow; just take the make-up off and slather some of this wonder balm on..
