Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix (£49) is probably one of my favourite skincare products of the year. The latest addition to the longrunning Advanced Night Repair collection – which started with just the classic serum – it is, says Lauder, a worldwide first; a light cream which uses “360° Matrix Technology” to provide a 360° cushion of plumping support to give eyes a fresh, “wide-open” look.
Among the claims that are made about Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix are that it renews the skin, to provide a refreshed, radiant look; it fortifies the skin, providing cushioning support around the eyes, and it hydrates for a full 24 hours thanks to its double-strength concentrated infusion of Hyaluronic Acid.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix is applied with a little applicator designed to be used to massage the product into the skin. The idea is to roll the product onto the skin all around the eye area – below and above – three times before massaging it into the skin, then finishing by patting it with your ring finger.
I must say, as someone who is prone to puffiness under the eyes, that I have noticed an improvement since I started using Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix twice a day. Not only that but the lines under my eyes are also less obvious – and I love its light consistency, which is a complete contrast to some of the stodgier eye creams I’ve tried in the past.
