I don’t need 24-hour coverage, and – frankly – I wasn’t convinced I needed a concealer but Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer (£18.50) might have converted me.
A sibling product to Clinique Beyond Foundation + Concealer, Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer is designed to instantly and easily blend into the skin to flawlessly conceal imperfections. It has, says Clinique, a transfer-resistant formula which should stay put—even through sweat and humidity. It provides immediate hydration to keep eye-area skin feeling comfortable, looking fresh and natural.
I’ve been pretty impressed with Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer. It is very easy to use – I’ve been applying it with a brush under my eyes, and then dabbing it to remove any excess and stop it from settling in to, and exaggerating, the fine lines. It has a lovely creamy texture – and doesn’t drag on the skin at all – and it corrects the colour in a subtle but definite way. It’s also great for masking the redness to which I’m prone (and which seems to be getting worse with age!).
There are 18 shades of Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer, including an apricot-coloured corrector shade to help tackle dark circles and discolouration. I was given two pale ones to try and found they worked best mixed together.
