Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturising Reviving Eye Mask (£29) may not have started out in my good books – but it has found its place in my beauty routine.

It contains organic leaf of life to boost skin’s ability to retain moisture, Irish moss which soothes the skin and horse chestnut which boosts radiance.
For the first week of using Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturising Reviving Eye Mask, I applied it at night as an overnight mask. To be honest, I didn’t really like how gunky my eyes felt in the morning – and how long it seemed to take me to get them feeling awake.
Then I tried using the mask as a ten-minute radiance boost on mornings when I felt I needed a pick-me-up or something to get me going and make the skin under my eyes look less knackered. And that’s where Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturising Reviving Eye Mask came into its own: it is a terrific express eye mask; one which reduces the appearance of darkness under the eyes, hydrates and brightens that skin and helps fine lines look a little less noticeable.
