Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Liquid Essence is one of two recent additions to the fabulous Hydra Beauty range of creams, serums and gels which all multi-task while they hydrate: their bonus skills are that they protect the skin from pollution, combat the effects on the skin of fatigue and help boost its vitality.
I have loved the Chanel Hydra Beauty range since it was launched (with a slightly different name) a decade ago, and regularly return to old favourites, such as the serum and the gel-creme, whenever I can. The essence works well in conjunction with the existing items, but it is also great on its own.
The Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Liquid Essence combines the moisturising properties of a serum with micro-droplets encapsulating a new energising active ingredient derived from camellia and packed with nourishing lipids. It feels as if you have doused your face with fresh water when you apply it, but it absorbs amazingly quickly and almost immediately gives the skin the feeling of protection, hydration and comfort. The 5,000 micro-droplets per bottle protect the fresh camellia cells in their purest form until the moment of application on skin.
