Well, it looks like The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask (£18; available January 16) is my first must-have beauty buy of 2018…
Part of The Body Shop’s Drops of Youth range, which (and I hadn’t realised this when I started using the collection last year) is aimed at those of us experiencing the first signs of ageing, The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask is a beautiful, gooey-green gel that can actually be beneficial to anyone concerned with ageing and/or prone to dryness or dehydration around the eyes.
As with the other items in the range, The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask is infused with three powerful plant stem cells – edelweiss from the Italian Alps, and crust marine and sea holly from the Brittany Coast, known for their protective, youth-enhancing properties. The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask also includes cucumber extract which has an instantly moisturising effect, and it’s 100% vegan.
Moisturising is just one of the benefits of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask. It also cools and soothes the eye area and can be used to refresh the skin during the day – so you can use it morning and night, and also in between times, whenever you feel that your eyes are tired and need a pick-me-up. It leaves the skin feeling hydrated and as if it’s tightening. Not only that, but it can be used as an overnight mask – though, personally, I found that option less appealing as my eyes felt a little sticky the next morning and I didn’t feel as aware of any benefits as I do when I just dot it on in the morning and at night. It’s a real pleasure to use, and one which has earned an immediate place in my 2018 beauty regime!
